Chairperson’s Message

Welcome to the 2nd Kuwait North American Neurology Conference, KNANC. It's almost a year and a half after our first meeting.

It gives me great pleasure to invite you all again for the meeting in Kuwait; this conference is the largest of its type in the Middle East region in the field of neurology.

The first conference attendance exceeded the expectation, it reached almost 700 attendees, the comments were amazing and the demand for a second one was encouraging.

Since we finished the first conference, we dedicated a huge effort to have distinguished speakers from the United States and Canada to come to this part of the world and share their outstanding knowledge with all of us.

The KNANC program will offer impressive lectures in different fields of neurology. The program is designed to cover most common neurological aspects needed in daily practice. It's an extensive course in Neurology over three days but it's an event that will stay in your memory for many years and definitely will enhance your knowledge. It's an excellent opportunity for those sitting for medical or neurological exams. The conference should meet the expectations of everybody who deals with neurological cases, including students, nurses, residents, general practitioners, internists and neurologists.

I strongly believe that this meeting will provide an excellent opportunity to advance communication between clinicians, academics and researchers from North America and health care professionals from our region. This definitely will have an impact on our patient care.

If you haven’t had the chance to go to the American Academy of Neurology meeting (AAN), then this is your best chance to catch up with new updates and meet the experts.

I hope that the KNANC 2014 Meeting will be a great scientific success and we are looking forward to welcoming you in Kuwait.
